Whether you are starting or progressing your Sign Language journey this course is perfect for you. You will learn signs that are relevant in your day to day interaction with your baby including: everyday baby signs, toys, food, family, pets, farm animals and more. Songs, instruments, stories, messy play, puppets, props and games are all used to help you learn and practice your signing skills. We also finish each session with parachute and bubble fun. Using British Sign Language with your child can help them to communicate their needs to you long before they have developed the ability to express themselves verbally. Signing with your baby will develop their natural desire to communicate. From as early as 6 to 9 months old, babies can begin to tell you what they want and how they feel. Signing has also been shown to improve spoken language, increase self confidence and aid bonding. It’s also fun and rewarding.
